Last July 28, 2023, the Rotary Club of Manila South, in partnership with the Alpha Phi Omega (APO) Philippines under the leadership of its National President Kevin Dy and the local government of Guinobatan, Albay, conducted a Bisita Konsulta for the evacuees of Guinobatan.
HCP Sheine Girao-Sapon, together with Rotarians Dr. Bogs Rivera and Atty. Fritz Sapon, lent a helping hand for the medical checkup of the evacuees using REMEDI, a portable telemedicine device that captures real-time patient signals, that are stored in a cloud-based HIPAA- compliant Electronic Health Record, and transmitted to any doctor specialist while on tele-video consultation.
The project was a great success with all groups committing to do this again in the future.
