The Rotary Club Manila South, under its PLP Henry Villa , today October 20, 2022 held its RY 2022-2023 Imagine Rotary Governor’s Visit by the PLDG Joyce Ambray with some of her Execom Team members, with the PLP FG Hermie Esguerra of RC Manila, as a special guest PLP , classmate of our very own Club President CB Henry R. Villa .
A mandatory requirement for every club, through its president, to report on the achievements of the club and its Rotarians on how far was it able to do its part in answering the challenges set by the District Governor in compliance with the RI Presidents Citations requirements in harmony with the theme of the Rotary Year that is, Imagine Rotary and the difference it will make to fulfil the dreams for a better world of our lesser ones.
The District Governor, as the Representative of the Rotary International in our District , together with her executive team assess the weaknesses and the strength of the club in tackling the the different Avenues of Rotary Service through which the Basic Rotary Services are delivered to those who need it most. Rotary Foundation giving by the club was also being discussed , where the importance of giving to the foundation is being explained. The RCMS PLP Henry has advised the Governor and her team that he has 4 club members who are his prospective club Paul Harris donor. The District Governor Joyce herself was able to make our Charter President Atty. Efren Goño and his An Lita agree to raise their Paul Harris multiple donor status to one of a major donor status.
This afternoon’s Governor’s Visit was indeed a very productive one. For the RCMS , for its meeting almost 94% of the challenge of the Governor and for the District through the convincing prowess of DG Joyce, who was able to convince from the club another major donor to the Rotary Foundation.
Yes Rotary is family. A family of Rotarians who are serving humanity and are doing good in the world. Joining hands to together make simple dreams do come true, and in Imagine Rotary, make a really great difference in the lives of the people and community they serve.
