From Atty Mario Dionisio: Thank you Rotary Club of Manila South for the trust and confidence you’ve placed in me to lead our Club. It is a great honor and privilege to be your President and to be chosen to carry on the Rotary’s Motto: “Service Above Self”.
Joining the Rotary makes my lifestyle far better, more vibrant, and wider in scope. Now, my public service is no longer limited to rendering legal services. With Rotary, I am now involved in more civic and charity projects. I am now with millions of Rotarians around the world who are keeping their moral obligations to help change the society and make essential contributions by uplifting the lives of the unfortunate ones, with seven areas of focus: promoting peace; fighting disease; providing clean water, sanitation and hygiene; saving mothers and children; supporting education; growing local economies; and protecting the environment.
I am now excited to embark on this journey as Club President and to blaze a trail by accomplishing everything as much as possible and as far as practicable. I have accepted the challenge. I am taking on the responsibility. I am ready to serve to change lives.
